Whether capturing the grace of a dancer, the serenity of nature, or the majesty of wildlife, Hurley’s work reflects his deep connection to the world around him.

For Jack Hurley, painting is about more than just creating—it’s about finding balance and harmony in the world. “I like beautiful skies, beaches, and simple objects. A beautiful vista or a body in motion emits grace and power to me,” he shares, explaining how things that bring him a sense of hope and fulfillment inspire him. Hurley likes to convey a variety of emotions using different landscapes and subjects. “Whether it's a painting of wildlife or nature or the human form, it interests me to visually capture a moment in time,” he explains, “to give the viewer a sense of strength or serenity or excitement.” His most rewarding project thus far has been his series of dancers. “I love the power and the feeling of motion in the paintings,” he highlights, reminiscing on the many hours he spent creating them.
