Nicole White Kennedy's Biography
Nicole White Kennedy, AIS
(Signature Member American Expressionist Society)
Nicole is nationally recognized for her coastal series, figures in the environment narratives, European street life and plein air works painted with an impressionistic flair.
National/Regional Recognition Nicole has been juried into numerous national exhibits with organizations; American Impressionist Society earning Signature Member Status (AIS), National Oil & Acrylic Painters Society (Honorable mention 2020 and Figurative Award of Excellence 2016), Women Painters of the Southeast (Outstanding Figurative 2016). Nicole has been juried into Oil Painters of America National and salon exhibits and Eastern Regional many times. In addition Nicole has exhibited in Salmagundi Club in NYC with Allied Artists & National Audubon Artists winning awards.
Publications: Modern Impressionist Magazine - Finalist Oct and Dec issues 2024, Fine Art Connoisseur, American Art Collector, Wrightsville Beach Magazine full features 2008 & 2015, Southern Living, Our State, Wakefield Living Magazine, Midtown, amongst others.
Nicole established “Nicole’s Studio & Art Gallery” in Raleigh from 2002-2019 - launching artists’ careers and hosting workshops with master national instructors. She also instructs her own workshops.
Education: Parsons School of Design and School of Visual Arts NYC followed by a career in advertising art direction. Continuing studies with nationally acclaimed master instructors: Quang Ho, Dawn Whitelaw, Kim English, John Poon, Lori Putnam to name a few.
