Diana Vincent is a self-taught acrylic artist who started painting late in life, with no formal art education or training. Less than 10 years into painting, her meticulous style was recognized through juried shows, international competitions, local publications and awards. Getting lost in the details is her motivation for painting realism. Additionally, through endless experimentation and blending science with art, Diana also creates signature fluid-art pieces (no brushes used). This process uses mica powders and resin-based art mediums combined with acrylic paint, utilizing a unique layering technique, to create mesmerizing outcomes. These pieces have hung in local galleries, have also earned awards and are sought after for commissions. Her latest evolution in art is to combine the magic of fluid-art in the form of a background while capturing wildlife in a unique way on top of the background, creating true signature pieces.
